Interview with Dr. Randy Fish on successfully treating diabetic foot wounds with phages
April 14, 3pm Pacific Time
At this event, Jessica will interview Dr. Fish about his work and vision when it comes to using phages to treat diabetic foot infections. We'll discuss his goals to look at topical or localized use of phage to avoid the use of antibiotics, his vision on using phage to catch infections early, and his interest in testing how much and how often phage should be applied for optimal results.
Here's one of Randy's papers on his use of phages to close diabetic foot wounds, which we'll discuss: https://www.magonlinelibrary.com/doi/abs/10.12968/jowc.2016.25.Sup7.S27
